4Review of Action Items () 5 minutesThe group's prior decisions and action items are reviewed, and status reported. Any action items that are not closed out are evaluated for relevance and additional needs
  • Calls and Invitations
  • Video participants update

Brent: We have a signed contract with Prairie Meadows, so we are confirmed for the January date in Altoona, still waiting on the invoice. Jeff with Co-Alliance has indicated we can use their space in Indianapolis on 2/1 and has us on the calendar. We gave them an estimate of 50 attendees and will be able to update them more when it’s closer to annual conference, and whether or not that count needed to go up. We have a location in Kearney, NE we’ve reached out to see about meeting space availability for 2/22, so when we have information from them, we will share it.

5Quick Connect at Annual - 5 minutesThe group has time to discuss, document, and assign responsibilities as necessary to support the planned partner "doing business with" sessions at the annual conference.
  • Space needs - tables, a/v, etc.
  • Partner window sign ups
  • Collateral
  • Company outreach

Brent: Moving on to the annual conference. Last call we discussed getting travel plans from manufacturers and looked through the conference agenda. We also discussed with MS using Sign-Up Genius again to set those appointments, and we talked through the communication breakdown from last year when people didn’t get notifications. We are pretty sure we have a good process in place for that, and we are working up the template for signup. Once we get manufacturer availability nailed down, we will publish a test version. The biggest thing will be keeping an eye on it for the first couple days of conference. As of right now, the QC sessions are on Monday and Tuesday, and we don’t have anything official on Wednesday, but we have plenty of space if we need to roll over sessions. Questions on that? Ann, do you have anything else?

Paul: Current communication status: I made some updates to it, it really focused more on the retailer. I know we talked about weaving in something with the suppliers but there’s a lot to say to the retailers to get them to come. Probably the manufacturer communications will be one on a few as opposed to a broad brush. The retail one we want to be able to communicate directly to them. I did re-work up the communication and sent it to Brent and Ann yesterday to make sure it was in the ballpark. It was a little bit of design and copy as opposed to the one I showed last time. (Paul shared his screen with the communication).

Paul: Again, this isn’t complete; I had Meri do something for me and then she had a couple days off so there are a couple things I want to tweak. As soon as we have the dates locked in, I want to have that bolder and more visible on the layout. A lot of this is similar to what I did before just with some tweaks. I want to add a QR code that goes to the registration page that people can scan. We will also have a link here mentioning where to go to on the website to register. When we get the details on that, we will make sure that’s in there and correct. This is relatively close unless there are issues or things people see they don’t care for.

Brent: Any thoughts/feedback from the group?

Paul: Does Doug have an address or an official name for the IN location?

Jeff: I will send you the address.
