Meeting Minutes

1

Welcome, Antitrust and Introduction () 1 min.

Welcome the group - review Antitrust statement
In all of AgGateway's operations and activities, it must avoid discussions or conduct that might violate applicable antitrust laws, or even appear to do so. To that end, AgGateway has established Antitrust Guidelines, which it has provided to each participant in this meeting. While it is your ultimate responsibility to ensure that your actions comply with applicable antitrust laws, your participation in this meeting is affirmation that you will abide by AgGateway's guidelines.
Reviewed groundrules for conversations, antitrust, and agenda.

3Including agronomy in Quick Connect (All) ? minutesThe group discusses bringing in agronomic data, standards, processes, and tools into scope for Quick Connect.
  • Injecting "new" into the quick connect concept
    • Expanding beyond the B2B supply chain
    • Need for scale ticket, integration around grain movements - do we have some members who would be interested in talking to partners and getting that rolling?
    • Communication: moving towards implementation - let's do it. We want to focus on implementation
  • Is quick connect for the agronomy side more of an implementation exercise? Or is it about getting new people?
    • Taking work done in ADAPT, mx ticket, scale ticket and extending it up the chain
    • Is there an education component? Do we need to engage folks in a different way?
    • In-field product ID going through ADAPT? For the most part, yes. Cycle is a JSON file comng out of an ERP to the machine, and then through the controller format, into the display with hybrid, variety, name, lot number and unique identifier. Deere, CNH, AGCO are committed to carrying payload to the display and back.
    • Not sure how to tie this to a work order, but ultimately have building blocks to tie specific work order to actual activity
  • Identify members on the equipment side talking to retailers - how do we educate the people coming to the table today to get excited about agronomic data interoperability?
    • Feeling like this is about 6 months too early for agronomic data - BUT, how can we encourage use of ADAPT?
    • Convergence of digital agronomy and accounting/supply chain data is going to be critical for the retailer of the future
  • Think we need to:
    • Get In-field product ID a little farther down the path
    • Share the high level vision of scope and value
    • Prepare the membership for implementation conversation in 2023

Other items ()

Discuss any additional items that came up during meeting that need to be addressed in another meet-up

Reiterate need for scale ticket - need a decision - are there people who can take it forward?

  • AgXML to JSON - product movement from the field to the elevator is essential for all retailers in the midwest
  • ACTION - Brent to see about carving out a session focused on scale ticket for MYM
  • ACTION - Jeremy and Brent to bring this conversation back to Jim
  • ACTION - Greg to review list of attendees for scale ticket to see if we can build an invite list for MYM
