Global Trade Item Number

Global Trade Item Number (GTIN) is the GS1 code that is the AGW standard identifier for agricultural products in AGIIS. The GTIN, as defined in the AGW standard, is a 14-digit code consisting of an indicator digit, a company code issued by GS1 or assigned by AGW using the “04” numbering convention (below), a unique product number assigned by the manufacturer, and a check digit.
