job

A job is the work executed by one workset (man/machine combination) or a number of worksets that work organizationally together. Resources (man, machine, land, etc.) are required to perform a job in a specific time period and should not be reassigned to other jobs. A job exists of one or more tasks. A collection of specific task or tasks, done as a part of the routine of an operation.
