grayed-out

Within AGIIS, 'grayed-out' means that a button, check box or entry field is unavailable and cannot be brought into focus. See also [[disabled]]. Called grayed-out because the area in question often is displayed in shades of gray (rather than black, white, or in color) to show that the area is unavailable.
