address standardization

All entity addresses are processed by Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS) Certified address standardization software before being stored in the AGIIS Master Directory. This process not only detects invalid addresses but also standardizes the data (e.g. Boulevard is standardized to BLVD). See also [[Address Override]].
