resistance coefficient

A quantitative expression of hydraulic resistance exerted by a conduit boundary on fluid flow. Examples are “n”, “C”, and “f” in the Manning, Chezy, and Darcy-Weisbach equations for velocity of uniform flow (also called roughness coefficient).
