real time kinematic

A technique used in land survey based on the use of carrier phase measurements of the GPS, GLONASS and/or Galileo signals where a single land-based reference station provides the real-time corrections, providing up to centimeter-level accuracy; procedure whereby carrier-phase corrections are transmitted in real time from a reference receiver to the user’s receiver.
