Face-to-face mid-year-meeting AgGateway for the Europe region. Invited are AgGateway members and non-members. The program gives room for several short presentations about relevant developments in data sharing and data processing concerning smart sustainable farming and precision agriculture.
This time, we will take the opportunity to visit some nearby companies and organizations that are working on precision farming.

Objectives of this meeting:

Enhance the introduction of smart farming, enable and promote data sharing:

  • by discussing new developments in data sharing and challenges in interoperability in agrifood.
  • by getting a better insight of pain points in data sharing and interoperability in agribusiness.
  • by setting priorities for the AgGateway workplan and portfolio.

Special theme: Implementing smart farming.

Format:

  • Have several (short) presentations.
  • Each presenter is asked to underline some of the most severe pain points, hold-backs and/or challenges in data sharing from his/her point of view.

Presentation: Farm Data Spaces and CSRD
Data Spaces are considered of great importance for implementing the 'Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive' (CSRD) and to facilitate data sharing in the overall food system. ATB is currently realising part of this work in the Data4Food2030 project as well as using data space connector open source implementation results from the FIWARE open source community.
