Observation is that systems and processes for this line of business are antiquated Some base standards of identification and message exchange do existNACS - National Association of Convenience Stores - product codes X12 EDI 200-series messages for data exchange in distribution Likely other codes and messages in use for regulatory touch points Products:Refined fuels - many different vendors but "commodity" level product set Oil & Lube - seed-scale SKU set Identification at the packaged product level only with lots of proprietary codes embedded in current barcoding Randy advertised for the Crop Protection Identification session on Wednesday morning.
