Purpose of meeting: The Ag Retail Meet Up will inform members on the state of current work; identify industry pinch points that can benefit from process improvement, standards implementation, or both; and offer an opportunity for idea generation and collaboration.

Participants will benefit through increased understanding of industry capability and readiness to act; opportunity to offer input and provide direction on active and anticipated collaborative efforts.

Welcome the group - review Antitrust statement
In all of AgGateway's operations and activities, it must avoid discussions or conduct that might violate applicable antitrust laws, or even appear to do so. To that end, AgGateway has established Antitrust Guidelines, which it has provided to each participant in this meeting. 3Ag Retail Roadshow Recap and Next Steps () 8 minutesAll have an opportunity to reflect on and decide where the ag retail education roadshow goes next.Ann Vande Lune provided a brief overview of the Ag Retail Roadshow. Series of meetings in IA, IN and NE.  The sessions were productive small groups but led to good discussion and new members.  Will continue to have Quick Connect sessions at Annual Conference.

Seed Meeting - A couple of adjustment to Seed Messages will be presented at Standard & Guidelines today.

CN Roundtable - Making progress on Storage messages. Also, considering adding retail considerations to the CN messages.

CP Meet-up - The group will be meeting this afternoon and there will be a report out on Working Group 17.

Identification Meet-up - The group had a good discussion regarding entity business rules in AGIIS.  Anticipating future conference calls and a potential face to face meeting.

    • Liz Sertl provided a presentation on Sunrise 2027.
    • Liz was going to check on any security concerns with the 2D Barcode. 
  • The AI webinar has been scheduled for 22 June.
  • What should the Ag Retail Meet-up look like?
    • Eric H provided a topic - Chat GBT (This is what the webinar will cover on 22 June). Trying to understand how folks are using it. Allison Lawson stated her company is embracing the technology. Stated you should be cautious when submitting proprietary information regarding your company. Syngenta is running an internal pilot. 
    • Ag Retail should share topics and provide an outlet for education.
    • Allison Lawson (topic) - What does consumers want to see as far as traceability? 
    • Drones
    • Jeff Griffeth provided an update on physical/cyber security conference he attended.  Conference was put on by FBI and Nebraska Farm Bureau.
    • EBusiness/eConnectivity Security could be a good topic. Where is data located?
  • The group felt educational topics and industry awareness are good topics for face to face meeting.  Every other month conference calls to brainstorm ideas and also a few educational webinars throughout the year.  This will also provide an outlet for new members to connect. Keep up the Ag Retail mailing list. Send out specific calendar invites for the calls.
