1

Welcome, Antitrust and Introduction () 2 min.

Welcome the group - review Antitrust statement
In all of AgGateway's operations and activities, it must avoid discussions or conduct that might violate applicable antitrust laws, or even appear to do so. To that end, AgGateway has established Antitrust Guidelines, which it has provided to each participant in this meeting. While it is your ultimate responsibility to ensure that your actions comply with applicable antitrust laws, your participation in this meeting is affirmation that you will abide by AgGateway's guidelines.

4AgGateway Experience

Q - If I attend a meeting, will I get added to a D-List

Q - Scott Meredith - Do working groups have a life cycle. Do they end

Ben Craker explained that WG's have quick deliverables and the idea is to complete work quickly and if there is more work that needs to be completed outside of the charter, a new Wg will be created.

Past Allied Provider Inititatives

Josh explained the Enabled By logo initiative. Asked the group if this is worth continuing.  5-10 companies took advantage of the program.

Q - Who is the target audience of AgGateway.

A-Depends on the industry segment.  Growers no, but maybe AgRetail, yes.

LOL - Links AgGateway brand to Growers.  JW- AgRetail needs to grow and it would be benefical to have more member representation.  Growers need to be made aware of what we are doing in AgGatewau.  Greg Baldwin - AR voice is needed in AgGateway.  AR involvement in implementation process is necessary to ensure success.  JW- May need Paul to push this initiative out again.

Logo - Should to remove eAgriculture Resources - Detracts from the message.  Appears there are two brands.  Embed a link to AgGateway in the Logo.

Innovation Profiles - gives AP opportunity to put together a profile that shows that they used AgGateway standards in their solution.  .Josh indicated that these need to be updated.  Some are getting old and out of date.  These are good tools to showcase your company.  We use these to show new members some of the benefits of AgGateway.

6Service Provider Directory

Old, but needs to be new again.  Old-Allied Provider Matrix.  Was located on website and linked to wiki.  Challenge was keeping this up to date.  AgGateway looking to implement a Directory in MyAgGateway.  Purpose is to connect AgGateway members with Allied Providers that provide a particular service.  JW- we will soon send out a survey.  Is there value in this?  Would be promoted on website and available in MyAgGateway.  The service provider will maintain.  Q- SM - Will connections be displayed.  JW- may not be that level, but would show what services and what file formats are supported.  There are solutions that APs provide.

Other items ()

Discuss any additional items that came up during meeting that need to be addressed in another meet-up

GB-the tool is useful.  Difficult for AGW staff to maintain.  Josh explained this is self service.  Thinks will get better traction if this is self service.

What about non-allied providers?  Who is using this functinality already.  Could there be something that says, who else is like me and does the same services?

Is this something that non-members can access?  Not to put their services out there, but to give non-members access to the AP directory to find a provider.

Q- are there other events around ERP?

Is there a consulting service AGW could provide to help implement a standard?  A - Potentially.  we have used consultants in past (ADAPT).  If there is a need, AGW might consider doing this.  Q- do others in group also see a need for this or are APs in the room the ones to do this kind of work.

GB- obstacles - need a list of checkpoints before implementation.  Always running into obstacles roadblocks that sets back implementation.

Would be good to have an AGW staff person in a role to address implementation and know what the challenges are and potential issues to ensure successful implementation.  JW- also need members to use this type of service.

SM- Having more retailers involved would lead to more membership.  Manufacturers will move faster with more retail members.

GB-resources on the team (staff)  to put pressure on manufactures to implement GTIN and B2B.

When Bayer combined systems there was movement.  A lot of buy-in.

GB-Toolkit to talk to Retailers...need a go to market strategy.
